We built Cara because we believe in a different approach to veterinary medicine. One that is all about connection. We are driven by a belief and excitement in helping humanity. Pets are such an integral part of that. They mean so much to us. They change our lives, touch our hearts, and even teach us how to be better people.

Many of our team members have a core memory of wanting to save an animal as a child. That has shaped who they have become. We will protect that flame. We invest in you. With training, education, benefits, and mentorship. With support, teamwork, and an unflinchable belief in you. With everything we do, we will empower you to change the lives of people and pets. And we'll help you make your inner child proud.
Wellness Exams 20 miles northeast of Seattle, you will find our favorite community on Earth. Woodinville is surrounded by nature, enriched with an inclusive culture, and ripe for building a wonderful life. Here, you will find incredible restaurants and cafes, world-class wineries and microbreweries, and an incredible range of activities: from nightlife to skiing or kayaking.
A green, stylized outline of the United States, with simplified state borders but no labels or additional markings. The map's minimalistic design features distinctive, crisp edges and is perfect for decorating a veterinarian's clinic. A round sign on a wall reads "Woodinville Veterinary Hospital Since 1941" in bold letters. The sign, adorned with mountains and trees at the bottom and a small cross above the text, has a circular design. The background is light-colored, and the dark blue text proudly marks this haven for pets needing a vet.

Shake things up

As part of the Cara Veterinary Family, our practice operates from five core principles, or "pillars".

Our Pillars

A dedicated veterinarian in blue scrubs, with a surgical mask resting around her neck, lovingly cradles a small, scruffy black dog. They stand in the heart of a bustling veterinary clinic, surrounded by essential medical equipment. A happy dog with a black and tan coat is looking up, mouth open, its head nestled between a person's dark-clothed arms. The image captures the dog's joyful expression, reminiscent of a pup greeting their favorite vet after a check-up. A person with glasses cuddles a fluffy black and white cat, holding it close to their face. The individual, perhaps a veterinarian in a blue top, ensures the cat feels calm and relaxed. The background is out of focus, emphasizing this tender moment between vet and pet. A small dog with a brown and white coat is wearing a harness and being gently lifted in a sling by two people. The dog appears calm as it is carefully held and raised off the ground, likely under the guidance of a veterinarian. A white cat with black markings is lying on a green towel, looking intently forward. A veterinarian’s hand gently rests on the cat's back, providing comfort. The scene is calm and serene.

A woman with glasses, who appears to be a caring veterinarian, gently holds and nuzzles a small Persian cat with a black and white coat and an orange bandage on its paw. The image is framed with a green heart outline. A French Bulldog in a harness is gently lifted by two people, possibly a vet and an assistant. The dog's ears are perked up, appearing calm and curious. The scene is indoors, with the dog receiving attentive care. A green heart outline frames the image, highlighting its tenderness. A white cat with black markings on its head is lying down on a light green towel. A person's hand, perhaps that of a veterinarian, is gently resting on the cat's back. Medical equipment and supplies are visible in the background. One vet wears a white coat, the other wears blue scrubs. A fluffy black-and-white cat with large eyes lies on a soft towel, while a veterinarian trims its claws with a nail clipper. Another hand gently holds the cat, providing comfort. A veterinarian wearing a blue medical mask and navy scrubs gently holds the head of a white poodle.
