Veterinary Assistant
Barry grew up in Broomfield, CO and relocated to the PNW in 2018. He has always had a passion for animals and after he lost his job during the Covid-19 shut down, he decided to make that passion into a career. He is currently attending Penn Foster College to become a Veterinary Technician. He comes to the team at WVH from emergency veterinary medicine where he quickly developed a love for emergency and critical care. He hopes to bring that love to the urgent care team to provide compassion and care for pets and their owners when the unexpected happens. Away from WVH, Barry loves to spend time with his amazing wife Lilia and their two dogs, Benji and Bailey enjoying the PNW by hiking, camping, and being on the water. When he isn’t exploring with them, Barry enjoys reading, playing games, and has been a life-long hockey player.
